Data-based decisions correlated to direct measures
Based on the Student Measures, Grades and Input for our Dealer Advisory Council, there are areas for modification and improvement in each emphasis. As a result, there has been discussions emphasizing and reviewing the learning objectives and data, plus we will be reviewing them more detail during the Faculty Retreat 2022 and make some curriculum and assessment decisions on how to improve student achievement on each learning objective.
Based on inputs from dealers, manufactures, along with students from the ASTE. AMT department will work towards students further/better education with:
More emphasis on student hand on training to support classroom discussion
More time learning about troubleshooting and how it applies to diagnosis and correct repairs
More in-depth studies on elections and computer/software use with equipment and decision making
Add topics on Autonomous and Electric tractors along with more on training on precision farming in agriculture
