Biography

Michael R. Conover is a professor of wildlife ecology and behavior in the Wildland Resources Department, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Utah State University.  He is the founding director of the Jack H. Berryman Institute, founding editor of the journal Human-Wildlife Interactions, and former chair of Wildlife Damage Management Working Group of The Wildlife Society.  His current research focuses on mammal depredation of duck nests on the marshes of Great Salt Lake, and elk and mule deer damage of  alfalfa and corn crops in Wyoming.
