   <bio>Dr. Hang Dai's research focuses on power electronics and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), with an emphasis on developing wireless power transfer systems for UAVs and remote sensors that enable persistent and quiet wildfire monitoring. He also studies arcing and lightning strike impacts on utility's transmission lines and electrical equipment to improve understanding and mitigation of wildfire ignition risks.</bio>
