Shalyn Drake

Biography

Shalyn Drake is a Lecturer in the Aviation Technology department and program lead for the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) technical education certificate at Utah State University Eastern. Drake focuses on project-based learning and community engagement for students. Drake's goal is to lead in the safe integration of sUAS in the National Airspace System (NAS) for the purpose of conservation, restoration, mitigation, and other arenas within the intersection of humans and wildlife. Drake is also a manager for Extension program Aggie Drone Academy focusing on research, education, and outreach.
