   <bio>Dr. Mike McEntire is an assistant professor of zoological medicine within the College of Veterinary Medicine.  Zoological medicine is a discipline that integrates clinical sciences, preventive medicine, and ecology to advance the health, wellbeing, and conservation of free-living and managed wildlife and non-traditional companion species.  Dr. McEntire has worked with free-ranging wildlife populations, wildlife rehabilitation centers, and numerous zoological institutions housing managed collections of wildlife. His work focuses on the pharmacology, anesthesia, and disease epidemiology and ecology of zoological species both in managed care and in free-ranging settings.</bio>
