<bio>Joseph Wilson studies the ecology and evolution of bees and wasps, and how people can better understand and protect these important insects across farms, rangelands, and cities. His research documents pollinator diversity in natural and agricultural landscapes and co-develops practical strategies including habitat design, nest management, and community education to sustain pollination services and native biodiversity. He shares this work widely through research, teaching, and award-winning field guides, including the book The Bees in your Backyard. </bio>
