<bio>Jesus' research is tied to the way humans interact with natural resources, in particular, fisheries. One of his projects analyze subsidies in Mexico for fishers to see if it leads to increases in fish harvest, potentially affecting stock levels and natural habitats. His other work looks at how U.S. policy on excess solar energy payment schemes may impact utility energy imports from solar residential customers. </bio>
