<bio>Lindsay is a a Ph.D. student in the USU Fish Ecology Lab working with Dr. Phaedra Budy, and a fish biologist with the U.S. Geological Survey at the Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center. Her research examines how human recreation influences fish growth, and how water storage and reservoir operations shape native fish populations in the Colorado River Basin, with the goal of informing management decisions that support coexistence between people and aquatic wildlife. She is particularly interested in translating science into practice through collaboration, education, and creative science communication, using art and illustration to make research accessible to diverse audiences.</bio>
