Meg is a master's student in the Department of Environment and Society's Recreation Resource Management program. She is researching the management of human outdoor recreation and black bear populations in Michigan to help ensure recreationists have a fun and safe experience outdoors while minimizing their impact on black bears. Her goal is to aid wildlife and recreation managers increase positive/neutral interactions between humans and black bears and decrease negative interactions.
