Huaqing holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Landscape Architecture from Shenyang Jianzhu University and a Master of Science in Landscape Architecture from Peking University. She completed her Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Science at Texas A&M University in 2021. Before joining USU LAEP, she served as a lecturer at Texas A&M University and worked as a lab manager at the University of Hong Kong. A02392263
