Geomorphology, Surface Processes, & Hydrogeology

Our geomorphology, surface processes, and hydrogeology research includes study of landscape evolution and natural hazards under changing climate and tectonic forces, issues of groundwater pathways and supply, and a host of collaborations with paleoclimatologists, ecologists, archaeologists, government agencies, and more.  A highlight is the geochronology capabilities of our Luminescence Lab, and we benefit from the critical mass and wide variety of surface process and hydrology faculty across other units of USU.
