Pollinator Conservation in Utah
Healthy, productive wildlands depend on pollinators and the role they play in maintaining functional ecosystems, species diversity, and agricultural production. Pollinator conservation in Utah has been gaining traction through a state-wide effort to improve habitat throughout our diverse public and private lands. Thanks to funding and recognition from Utah House Bill 0224 Pollinator Amendments (2021), the efforts of many private organizations and agencies including (but not limited to) UDOT, UDAF, USDA, USU Extension, BLM, and several NGO’s have helped highlight the importance of pollinator conservation.
