The Department of Technology, Design and Technical Education offers diverse programs with hands-on learning opportunities to gain technical knowledge and employable skills for success in today’s workforce. The department also serves various industries and communities through certifications offered by workforce and business development programs in Blanding and Price.
The annual competition, now in its third year, brought together students from Albert R. Lyman Middle School, Monticello High School, San Juan High School, Whitehorse High School, Monument Valley High School, and Navajo Mountain High School.
Numbers don’t have to be scary. Just ask Ryan Murray, Utah State University Eastern’s newest accounting instructor. Murray is making it his mission to demystify numbers and make math fun again.
A new seven-week course called Design Careers (LAEP 1010), is being introduced to help students understand the range of design careers they can pursue and the USU majors that can get them there.
