Technology Systems

A Flexible, Stackable Degree Built for Career Success

The Bachelor of Science in Technology Systems is a flexible, career-focused degree designed for students with technical training who want to advance into leadership, innovation, and specialized industry roles.

Students typically complete the first two years through the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Technology and Design.

A technology system is a group of connected parts that work together to collect, process, store, and share information to achieve a specific goal.

It usually includes:

  • Hardware (physical devices like computers or servers)
  • Software (programs and applications)
  • Data (the information being used or processed)
  • People and processes (the users and the steps they follow)

The key idea is that these parts are interdependent, meaning they rely on each other. If one part changes or fails, it can affect the entire system. Technology systems are used in everyday settings like businesses, schools, healthcare, and communication networks to solve problems and improve efficiency.
