<bio>Phoebe is a Master's student in the Quantitative Fisheries and Aquatic Ecology Lab with Dr. Tim Walsworth. Her work focuses on aiding Utah Lake Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio) monitoring and modeling as well as building out population models for the threatened June Sucker (Chasmistes liorus) to help tackle questions around natural recruitment, population age structure, and detection probability under a range of management scenarios. She received a B.A. in Biology from Middlebury College where studied ecosystem metabolism and nutrient limitation on the Little Colorado River in Grand Canyon, AZ, and started working with fish as a volunteer and technician with the Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center. Phoebe has been working as a river guide and boatman on the Green and Colorado rivers for 10 years and is passionate about protecting and exploring freshwater systems throughout Utah and the Colorado Plateau.</bio>
