Utah State University, Dairy West, the Western Dairy Center and it's BUILD Dairy program, have become leaders in dairy innovation, education, and research, empowering students and advancing sustainable practices to meet evolving industry demands.
We are networked with professors from different universities across the Western United States. We are always excited to expand our network with professors excited to teach the next generation of dairy food scientists.
In addition to the scientific training through education, training and research, BUILD Dairy students are encouraged by their professors to participate in a leadership program around dairy technology while completing their graduate program. This includes monthly online meetings (attending and making presentations), semi-annual and annual written reports on their progress through program (including their research), and making oral reports at the annual BUILD Dairy meeting.
