Biography

Abrianna Paez is a passionate graduate student with a strong foundation in food science and microbiology. She has experience in product development and research, notably as part of the team that won the grand prize at the 2024 IMPA competition for developing Cache's Cookies, a product she helped create. Abrianna is currently engaged in research aimed at improving cheese quality and reduce waste through redox potential control. She is also a participant in the BUILD dairy program, which funds student research in the dairy industry, providing opportunities for mentorship, hands-on experience, and professional development. By blending scientific research with consumer needs, Abrianna is dedicated to enhancing food quality and safety through advanced techniques. After graduation, she hopes to work in quality assurance or R&D.
