Biography

Joseph is a driven doctoral student specializing in Nutrition Science with a deep focus on the impact of agricultural practices on food quality and human health. His current research centers on the fatty acid profiles in meat and how these are influenced by various rearing and finishing practices. A holder of multiple degrees in pharmacology, exercise physiology, and nutrition, Joseph brings a multidisciplinary approach to his work. As a researcher in the SARE-funded project on sustainable agriculture, he explores how dietary sources affect human biomarkers and overall health. Joseph is dedicated to expanding research that bridges the gap between agricultural practices and nutritional science, aiming to foster sustainable eating habits and improved public health outcomes. After completing his PhD, Joseph aspires to continue his work in academia, contributing to both science and education by engaging the next generation of nutrition scientists.
