• Cone count data from hundreds of tree were collected on the T.W. Daniel Experimental Forest, collected between 1947 and 1981, and housed in the MASTREEplus data base. A 2022 paper in Global Change Biology (Hacket-Pain et al. 2022) describes the data set.
