Congratulations on your defense! Now that you’ve confirmed a time and date with your committee, it’s time to announce your achievement to the world. Use our templates, formatted in a 16:9 (2000px X 1125px) ratio to fit TV screens around the college.

New Canva Users
Make a free account using your USU or personal email. A code will be sent to your email to access and edit the template. If you’ve used Canva before, then enter your email.
Choose the design you like best and delete the other two pages using the trash icon on the upper right-hand side of each page outline. Click on the placeholder text to edit. Photos can be added over the placeholder blocks and cropped to fit. If you don’t want your defense zoom QR link to be added to the flyer, you can delete the placeholder and rearrange the text to fill the space.
When done, export the image by clicking “Share” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, then clicking the “Download” option. Download as a .PNG for use on the screen and a .PDF for printing.
Advertising your Defense
Send the .PNG file to your department and fill out the Screen Request form to get your advertisement posted on screens around the college.
