Biography
As a 7th generation Utahn, I grew up surrounded by apple orchards in Utah Valley. I come from a long line of farmers and educators. I studied Landscape and Ornamental Horticulture, with a minor in Botany at Brigham Young University. Worked in arboriculture 17+ years, and received my graduate degree from the UofU in Urban Planning with a focus on Urban Arboriculture and Urban Agriculture. It is my life-long dream to teach, and I love the Horticulture courses we have here at USU.
Teaching Interests
I have a long and beloved background with arboriculture, but all aspects of horticulture and urban agriculture are valuable to me.
