Johny Arteaga Guarumo

Biography

I am a physicist who has spent the past several years studying the processes involved in carbon fluxes between vegetation and the atmosphere, particularly in grassland ecosystems. Since August 2026, I have been a postdoctoral researcher in Brooke Osborne’s lab in the beautiful Moab campus, where we are exploring how vegetation processes shape soil carbon stocks in drylands.
