Educational Background
Biography
My motivation to teach stems from a passion to conserve wildland ecosystems and the ecosystem services they provide. I use case studies and personal land management experiences to mentor undergraduate students, develop young professionals, and strengthen interdiciplenary networks.

Research Interests
I help undergraduates develop and complete Undergraduate Research and Creative Opportunities (URCO) projects on topics related to each students' individual interests. I have ongoing projects related to pedagogy in natural resources, restoration and management of tribal lands, and fire management planning.
