To all of these endeavors, Andy brings over 30 years of experience in the conduct, transmission, and administration of ecological research. He holds a B.S. degree summa cum laude in Forestry/Wildlife Management from the School of Forest Resources at Mississippi State University, and a M.S. degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Ecology from the S.J. and Jessie E. Andy has extensive experience in scientific communication, collaboration, and community management, particularly with large, interdisciplinary, and cross-institutional research teams. He was an inaugural 2017 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science’s Community Engagement Fellowship Program and a Visiting Fellow and Scholar at the Center for Scientific Collaboration and Community Engagement at AAAS.
