Biography
Jonathon Walters, M.Ed., is the Student Nutrition Access Center (SNAC) Program Coordinator in the Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Sciences. SNAC is a campus food pantry serving students, faculty, and staff, with a dual mission of increasing access to nutritious food and offering meaningful experiential learning opportunities. Jonathon brings over 20 years of culinary industry experience to his role, having served in leadership positions such as Chef Instructor at Bridgerland Technical College, Corporate Chef for Regal Entertainment Group, and Executive Chef with Aramark and Sodexo. His diverse career bridges hands-on culinary practice and career-focused education. He holds a Master of Education in Career and Technical Education from Utah State University (2023), an Associate of Occupational Studies in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts (2008), a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Southern Illinois University (2007), and an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Networking from Southeastern Illinois College (2005).
