Biography

Dr. Zhijie Zhang is a professional practice assistant professor who leverages the advancements in Geospatial Artificial Intelligence to address the growing challenges of disasters driven by global environmental change. His research focuses on understanding the drivers of environmental change, improving the accuracy and timeliness of information extraction from spatiotemporal big data using deep learning, and applying these insights to analyze disaster impacts, promote environmental justice, and enhance disaster
resilience.
