The NDFS Department has a 1,200 sq. ft. Teaching Lab with three adjoining chemical fume hoods. The lab has four lab benches plumbed with water, air, vacuum and natural gas. The lab is equipped with balances, pH meters, spectrophotometers and several pieces of equipment used in determining proximate analysis. The lab is used for food chemistry, food analysis and food microbiology classes.
