You're not in graduate school alone! There are people and resources that can help you along your journey.

USU Resources

As mentioned on the homepage, Dr. Kara Thornton-Kurth, QANR Associate Dean for Graduate Programs, is always a resource for graduate students. She can listen, act as a neutral party, inform you of your graduate student rights, or connect you with other resources if she doesn't have the answer herself (though she usually does!). USU School of Graduate Studies
The School of Graduate Studies has all of the information on deadlines, requirements, necessary forms, funding opportunties, assistantships, student rights and responsibilities, and much more. Check out their resources and more for all things graduate school at Utah State University.

Inclusive Excellence Committee
The Quinney College Inclusive Excellence Committee is a committee within the student council. This committee advocates for graduate student well-being by connecting students with resources, fostering inclusivity, and serving as a liaison to faculty and administration.

Emergency Medical Fund
The Quinney graduate student council is working to create an EMF available to all graduate students in the QANR, along with their dependents. More details will be shared as they become available! If you have questions, contact the EMF coordinator (Rory.Eggleston@usu.edu)

USU Counseling and Prevention Services (CAPS)
CAPS is a mental health and counseling resource that all graduate students have access to. CAPS also provides crises services for those that need it.

Whether you are looking for roommates or a place to rent, this is a great place to start for finding housing in Cache Valley.

Student Nutrition Access Center
Student Nutrition Access Center (SNAC) is an on-campus student food bank that is run year round for both graduate and undergraduate students. Students can visit SNAC up to once a week.

USU's School of Accountancy every year runs a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program that can help all USU students file their taxes for free.
