Using the successful Westminster Legacy Foundation project as a case study, this webinar will highlight the tangible and intangible benefits of play in fostering deeper connections, creativity, and trust within communities. Attendees will hear inspiring stories and discover how implementing playful placemaking techniques can enhance their own projects, creating vibrant and inclusive community spaces. Speaker Bio Joy Kuebler, FASLA, is an award-winning professional with more than 20 years’ experience with her work being recognized locally and nationally. Across her career, she has focused her work on the human experience in the landscape, integrating the outdoors and architecture to create unique and inspiring environments. Cheryl Salazar, MPA, CPRP, has over 17 years in municipal leadership including with the cities of Fontana and San Marcos, and Riverside County, California. She has managed operations, programs, marketing, training, budgeting, commissions, nonprofits and events over the years.
