Anna is a master’s student in the Fish Ecology Lab with Dr. Phaedra Budy, and is also a Native Fisheries Biologist with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources in Moab, UT. Her work focuses on bottlenecks affecting age-0 Colorado pikeminnow (Ptychocheilus lucius) in the Upper Colorado River Basin, investigating what environmental or biotic drivers might be impacting recruitment success. She received a B.A. in Environmental Science and Biology from Fort Lewis College. Her love for exploring rivers via kayak has brought her around the world, although these days, she calls a few acres in Castle Valley, UT, home.
