Are beavers damaging your favorite trees or blocking a culvert or waterway, causing flooding? If so, help is available?
Start by identifying the issue and deciding whether action is necessary. In some cases, a beaver may simply be passing through, or the damage may be minor and not a cause for concern.
If action is needed, consider whether the problem can be prevented with simple solutions, such as fencing trees or making small property modifications. The best approach may depend on your comfort level and willingness to take preventative measures.
